2013 Pinot Noir, Tina Marie Vineyard

We strived to bring forth another exceptional Pinot from the Tina Marie vineyard located in the Green Valley area of Russian River, in Sonoma County. Tina Marie is classified Russian River, but could easily be characterized as Sonoma Coast. The wine reflects the elegance of a coastal Pinot from the fertile vineyard soil. The 2013 growing season was long, combined with no large temperature swings, and wonderful cool evenings, that resulted in slow, and even ripening of the fruit promoting complexity and balance in the wines. 2013 is characterized as an exceptional growing season; some are calling it a "phenomenal, outstanding" vintage for Sonoma County.

Tina Marie expresses beautiful youthful new French oak that supports the black cherry and red raspberry fruit. The uninhibited and bold aromatics are contradicted by the beauty of the delicate Pinot red fruit elements and refined structure. The finish is lengthy, especially for Pinot Noir, and is conveyed through with ample acidity and further enhanced by the core structure the 15% whole fermentation provides. This is a Pinot Noir of exrtaordinary class and will age well for 10 Years.

142 cases of exceptional Pinot was produced, available after March 1, 2015 through the   allocation list

Priced at USD $104.00/bottle.
